TERMS & CONDITIONS

GEL REMOVALS

Clients must book a pre service removal if they have existing product on their nails. If this service is required but has not been booked then it may reduce the available treatment time and what can be achieved within the allotted appointment

CANCELLATIONS

Any cancellations must be made a minimum of 24 hours prior to the appointment time. Failure to do so shall incur a missed appointment fee of 50% of the full value of the treatment which will be charged to the card details held on the booking platform. If no card details are held, the charge will be added to the client’s future bill. Failure to pay the charge will result in a restriction of booking for the client. Clients that continue to cancel their appointments or fail to cancel their appointments will incur the above cancellation fees, they will be asked for 100% non-refundable deposit on future appointments, payable at the time of booking or they may be blacklisted and unable to make further appointments.

RE-ARRANGING

The client may rearrange their appointment up to 24 hours before the service. If less than 24hrs notice is given then it will be treated as a late cancellation.

LATE ARRIVALS
The salon discourages late arrivals and asks that the client contacts the salon to advise of late arrival. It is at the discretion of the business the time limit on maximum lateness. This will be dependent on availability. If the client cannot make the appointment within a reasonable time then the salon reserves the right to charge the client for the full amount of the treatment. This charge may be paid immediately or applied to future bills. Failure to pay the charge will result in a restriction of booking for the client.

BOOKING FEES

Upon booking via the booking platform clients will be asked to provide their card details in order to secure their booking with a non-refundable booking fee. The booking fee will be deducted from their final bill. If they miss their appointment without letting the salon know or rearranging a minimum of 24 hours before their service their card will be charged the full amount of the treatment. Booking fees for large appointments such as weddings may be requested in order to secure the booking. Booking fees may be paid in person in the salon or over the phone. Card details will not be stored. Booking fees are non-refundable however the appointment can be moved to another date if notice is given with a minimum of 24hrs.

RIGHT TO REFUSE SERVICE

In the event that a contra indication/previous contra action is highlighted at the consultation stage an alternative suitable treatment may be suggested for you.

If the client presents as intoxicated or under the influence of drugs, or the client presents with symptoms of illness, the salon retains the right to refuse service. The client may be asked to rebook their appointment and in certain situations as mentioned above the client may be asked to leave the premises. The salon does not tolerate any threatening or physical abuse or behaviours, in the event of which the client will be escorted off the premises and refused any further treatment.

CHILDREN ON PREMISES

The salon discourages the attendance of children on the premises unless they are having a service in which case they must be supervised by a responsible adult at all times. Minors under the age of 16 will be refused treatment if they are not accompanied by a responsible adult. Any damages caused by children unsupervised or otherwise with be billed to the adult in attendance. Clients who arrive for appointments with children attending (not having treatments) may be refused service and asked to rebook for another time when children will not be present. Any children that cause other salon users distress or spoil their enjoyment will be asked to leave the salon, the adult in attendance will also be asked to leave and rebook their service even where the service is incomplete.

AGE RESTRICTIONS

Most of the treatments offered in the salon are subject to age restrictions set by insurers, brand or industry standards. Restrictions on services are;

· Gel Overlay Services – minimum age 12

· Nail Extension Services – minimum age 16

· Waxing/Hair Removal Services – minimum age 12

· Tinting Services – 18

· Dermaplaning/Glycopeel/Facials – minimum age 18

· Eyelash Extension/Lash Lift Services – minimum age 18

· Hair Colouring Services – minimum age 16

· Hair Extension Services – 18

The salon does not accept waivers to the age of consent on services. Any appointments made for minors against the age of consent guidelines will be cancelled and any deposit paid is non-refundable. An alternative treatment may be suggested by the salon where suitable.

COMPLAINTS PROCEDURE

In the event that the client is dissatisfied with their treatment or service they are asked to bring it to the attention of the manager immediately after their appointment. This can be done face to face, over the phone or in writing via email at: info@bloombeautyandhair.com or post to: F.A.O. The Manager, Bloom Beauty, Hair and Education, The Pavilion, Holborn Crescent, Tattenhoe, Milton Keynes, MK4 3EQ. The manager will aim to come to an acceptable resolution within 48 hours of notification of the complaint. This allows a thorough investigation to be carried out and an appropriate resolution to be reached. In the event that no fault of the salon is found then this decision will be fully explained to the client. A resolution may be given in the form of a rectify appointment or complimentary service. The salon operates a no refunds policy on services or gift vouchers. The salon aims to handle complaints with discretion to respect the privacy of the client in question and the comfort of other salon users and the business.

PATCH TESTING

All lash, tinting or colour services require a patch test to be carried out a minimum of 48 hours before treatment. A patch test must be repeated every 6 months if regular services are not carried out. The Salon does not accept waivers.

REFUNDS
The Salon does not offer refunds on services or gift vouchers. In the event of a complaint, clients will be offered a rectify appointment free of charge at the owners discretion.

GIFT VOUCHERS AND E-GIFT CARDS

Gift vouchers are available in any denomination or for any services. No change is given for remaining balance. Any balance will be reissued on a gift voucher. Vouchers have a 3 month expiry date at time of purchase. Any vouchers not redeemed before the expiry date will not be valid.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF OFFERS

Offers are restricted to 1 per customer unless otherwise stated. Other discounts including loyalty scheme redemption cannot be used in conjunction with offers. Offers are only valid until the stated expiry date. The salon reserves the right to change or remove offers at any time.
