Find out everything you need to know about the treatments and which one would suit you best.
What are HD Brows and HD BrowSculpt?
-
HD Brow Treatment - A bespoke treatment for the brows which can help grow back over plucked patches, tame bushy brows or maintain the fresh brow feeling.
-
HD BrowSculpt - Total brow transformation to tame unruly eyebrows. Brow lamination is a process which can be used to correct asymmetry, add texture, correct uneven tails and transform the brow shape. Add to that the complete HD treatment of tinting, waxing, threading, plucking and design and you will have total brow domination!
What are the benefits of the treatment?
All HD Brow services provide a bespoke treatment that is tailored for each individual client. These services give a much more manicured and designed finish to the brow compared to a standard brow shape and tint. HD Brow services can help to encourage sparse brows to grow back thicker for a fuller brow look and came tame unruly brow hairs for a neater finish
What to expect?
HD Brow Treatments can be a full make over for the brows. Your brow stylist will discuss your dream brow with you whilst also advising you on what is achievable and realistic. They can suggest different options for brow styling if you are unsure of what would suit you and they can offer aftercare advise on how to maintain the results between appointments.
During the HD BrowSculpt service the brow hairs will be relaxed and reformed into their new position with the HD lamination products. This is a quick process which is followed by the full HD Brow treatment consisting of a custom blended tint application before the brows are designed/created using waxing and threading techniques. The brows will then be tailored by trimming, plucking and make up application to ensure a perfect brow finish. Finally, your brow stylist will advise you on maintenance and homecare before recommending the frequency of future appointments.
Who is the treatment suitable for?
This treatment is most suited for those that want fuller, more defined brows. It is the perfect treatment as a regrowth programme or anyone looking for a statement brow. You should not be put off by thinking that this is only for a bold look. The treatment is fully customisable to achieve even a simple, tidy finish.
There is a small percentage of people that would not be suitable for this treatment such as anyone who has inactive hair follicles in the area (no hair growth). Skin conditions such as Psoriasis, Eczema and Dermatitis around the brow are also contraindications to service. HD BrowSculpt would not be suitable for anyone who already has laminated brows (done in the last 8 weeks) or has damaged/over processed brow hair.
Anyone who has an allergy to tints, henna or PPD (paraphenylenediamine) or is pregnant would not be suitable for the tint part of the service. Whilst the HD Brow treatment could still be performed without the tint, the results would
be less effective as the tint is a key factor. HD BrowSculpt cannot be performed without the tint as the lamination products will lighten the brow hair prior to necessary tinting – therefore the HD BrowSculpt treatment is completely unsuitable for anyone who is pregnant or allergic to tint.
Am I suitable for HD Brow or HD Brow Sculpt treatment?
If you want fuller, tidier or more defined brows, if you can commit to some easy brow styling during the regrowth phase and if you can attend maintenance appointments approximately 4 weeks apart then the treatment may likely be for you. Why not contact the salon for a consultation and patch test to discuss your requirements and your suitability. We can answer all your questions so you can make an informed decision.
Alternative treatments
Other treatments that are available if HD Brows isn’t for you include;
-Brow Shaping – wax or thread
-Brow Tint
-Microblading/Tattooing (recommended for sparse brows that won’t grow)
Aftercare
-
Avoid getting the brows wet for the first 24hrs after treatment. This allows the brow hairs to settle into their new position
-
Avoid the use of astringent cleansers, micellar water, facial wipes around the brow
-
Leave a minimum of 8 weeks before your next BrowSculpt service to avoid over processing the brow hairs. In between BrowSculpt appointments you may want to book a HD Brow appointment to keep the brows in shape and maintain the colour
-
Avoid the use of tanning products over tinted brows as this may affect the colour of the brow
-
It is essential to use the HD Brows Tint Lock Serum to nourish the brow hairs and prolong the results of the tint
-
The brows will not remain in the same lifted position as they appear at the end of the service. You will need to style the brow by brushing them and if you want to achieve the strong brushed up brow look you may want to apply HD Brow Glue to set hairs in place all day
